About Me

Hello there! I am a 21-year-old software engineering student from Lappeenranta. I am currently studying for my second year at LUT University. I have been interested in computers since I was 3 years old and have not been able to differentiate myself from them since then. As progressing through my studies, I am looking forward to improving my skillset by also gaining work experience simultaneously. My current interests are in Front-End -development.

By nature, I am very meticulous, and I always try to strive for the end goal and do not like to leave things hanging. I really like to build things – both physical and digital – and see the progress of my work; That's what inspires me the most in software engineering. I spend most of my time in front of computer screen, but my hobbies also include filmmaking and geocaching – in addition to computer games. My past work experience consists mainly of small video projects that I have made for multiple parties as a part of the hobby, but I have also worked with sound and light technology and installed them for small events.

I am not entirely sure about my future but software engineering feels the right thing to me as there are so many options to reach for. I will get so easily excited about everything I stick my nose into. Currently my plan consists of continuing my studies with Master's degree and specializing probably in Mechatronics and Machine Automation, but you never know where I will end up.
